Former NHL netminder Peter Ing has joined the Scotiabank® Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer team!

Peter Ing’s ascent to the National Hockey League began in Windsor with the Spitfires in 1988. The squad, which also featured Adam Graves, Darryl and Darrin Shannon, Paul  Maurice and Peter DeBoer, had a superb season and went to the Memorial Cup final. That summer, Peter was drafted in the third round by the Toronto Maple Leafs. He made his NHL debut during the 1989-90 season, earning full-time employment with the Leafs in 1990-91. That season, the rookie was awarded the Molson Cup having earned the team’s most Three-Star Selections. Peter spent 1990-91 with the Edmonton Oilers after being part of the trade that brought Grant Fuhr and Glenn Anderson to Toronto. He concluded his NHL career with the Detroit Red Wings in 1993-94. After retiring from hockey, Peter turned to the casino business and was Director of Slot Marketing at Casino Niagara. Today, he is CEO of FAN-Tastic Sports, which deals in outstanding interactive hockey games.
