An 18-season NHL veteran, Brad May was recognized as a fierce competitor through a career that began with the Buffalo Sabres in 1991-92 and took him to the Vancouver Canucks, Phoenix Coyotes, Colorado Avalanche, Anaheim Ducks, Toronto Maple Leafs and Detroit Red Wings before he retired in 2010. Few will forget broadcaster Rick Jeanneret’s famous “May Day! May Day! May Day!” call after Brad’s overtime goal in the opening series of the Stanley Cup playoffs in 1993. He won the Stanley Cup with Anaheim in 2007. Brad scored 127 goals and 289 points in 1,041 regular season NHL games. In additiona, Brad was a member of the silver medal-winning Canadian team at the World Championship of 1996. Brad May currently works with the Buffalo Sabres broadcast crew and is an NHL analyst on Rogers Sportsnet.
